Hawks back to training!
We are super excited to return to the courts following our gradual easing in and full compliance with Engand Netball's risk mitigation plan/risk assesments for new modified netball at stage 4a and b.
Hawks ladies have been anticipating the return to netball, and after a series of 'easing in' opportunities via our online live sessions during lockdown, and our small groups of 6 training 'bubbles' which offered 111 attendees 24 different training sessions outside over the summer, weare raring to go!
Following EN guidelines all players are now fully aware of the risks of netball, their personal risk assesment and the new modified netball rules and procedures. We can now offer whole club training for Hawks ladies at the brand new outdoor venue, New College Leicester. While everyone is excited to be back they'll have to follow all the COVID safety protocols including health screening and hand sanitising/cleaning of all equipment every 15 minutes. Remember, anyone attending training will have had to opt-in to netball and answer these health screening questions:

Has a member of your household or someone that you have been in contact with reported any of the above symptoms in the last 14 days?

New modified netball
Our players have all been made aware of the new rules and processes via our Pitchero messages, AGM Zoom meeting and the information found on our Facebook group and emails, but coaches and umpires will be helping out to remind everyone of the new guidelines. We are ready to welcome all our players back, and for those who aren't quite ready yet, we'll hope to see soon when they are more comfortbale to return!
